As Ford announced in the Dealer Letter dated 01/25/2010 today is the start date for using the Powertrain cost cap tool as part of your warrany administration process. This new tool replaces the Cost Cap Reference Charts and the need to fill out the repair cost vs. replacement paper forms. Ford is allowing your dealership personnel until 03/15/2010 to familiarize themselves with this new tool and after that it's use will be mandatory.
